Catriona Gray comes home after Miss Universe win
20 Dec – The newly crowned Miss Universe Catriona Gray was greeted like the star that she is as she returned to Manila for the first time since winning the pageant.
As reported on PEP, the beauty queen, who arrived at Platinum Skies private hangar in Pasay City on 19 December, was accompanied by her entourage that include Richelle Singson - daughter of former Ilocos Sur Governor, Chavit Singson.
Gray did not stop for any interviews, but was all smiles as she shared with the media, "I am so happy to be home. I am so happy to be back."
Her next item in the schedule was a meeting with volunteers and children from Young Focus - an organisation whose goal was to assist poor kids with education. It is noted that the organisation was one of Gray's advocacies.
Gray recently became the fourth Filipino beauty queen to win the Miss Universe crown after Gloria Diaz, Margi Moran, and Pia Wurtzbach.
