Gilbert is a beautiful male Bengal mix — shorthair brown tabby with white — about 1 1/2 years old. He has a great personality. He is a super friendly and loving cat who wants to be where you are. He is a lap cat and will sleep cuddling with you. He loves people. He does great with other cats and dogs. He likes to play with his toys and enjoys birdwatching. He was rescued from the shelter because his time was up. He found a foster home and now is ready to find his forever home that will cherish him. Would you give Gilbert a second chance?

Cheetah Boo, Maine coon and tabby mix

Cheetah Boo is a darling male Maine coon and tabby mix currently residing at Animal Adoption League.

Cheetah Boo loves dogs and cats. Animal Adoption League, however, wants to place him in a home without small children. He's already housetrained. He has all of his shots and he is neutered. Cheetah Boo is a special needs pet so please inquire about his specific care requirements.

From Cheetah Boo's current caretaker:

Cheetah, or Cheetah Boo, as his foster mom calls him, is laid back, lovable, cuddly, gets along with other cats, loves treats, loves his food and receives diabetic insulin twice a day. He is 10 years old, curious, funny and his foster mom says he reminds her of a lion with the way he carries himself — so much dignity but yet so sweet! He deserves a quiet home, so no young children or rambunctious, noisy dogs!

Emmett was rescued from a parking lot with a wound on his head and cognitive impairment. He was taken to the vet and given rabies, distemper and Convenia shots. A few weeks later he was neutered and cleaned up. His tail was clipped to remove mats and debris, he had his ears cleaned and he received a second distemper shot. In January he went for a dental checkup and got a bath and an ear flush. This time he tested positive for FIV, but negative for FeLV. We think he is 5 to 7 years old. He has been through so much and really needs a home where he can get lots of attention. He has to stay in a cage at our rescue, but he doesn't even try to get out. He loves to be brushed and petted and plays with toys. He would love to have a home of his own with caring people who would continue his recovery from living (and almost dying) on the streets.

Cherry, domestic shorthair

Cherry is a sweet female domestic shorthair cat currently residing at Animal Adoption League.

Cherry gets along well with kids, cats and dogs. She is already spayed and she has all her shots. She's mastered her housetraining etiquette.

Cherry's current caretakers say:

Meet Cherry! She’s a fun, playful, loving cat. She loves to jump and chase a ball but then she likes to lay with you after she’s played a little. After spending time in a shelter, Cherry likes to be reassured that she’s OK, and she enjoys her food and treats. She loves a good head rub and she purrs and makes sweet noises.

Maisie loves to play with the dogs and cats in her foster home. The best way to describe her, is play, play, play. She originally tested positive for leukemia. We have retested her several times and believe she is clear of the virus. However, if you have other kitties, it would be wise to have them vaccinated just in case. Maisie is in a very active home.

My name is Evie and I’m about 10 months old (as of 5/5/19). I am told I am a "torbie," which is a cross between a torti and tabby. When I was about five or six weeks old, I was turned into the shelter as a stray. I had a crushed pelvis, a broken leg and two broken vertebrae. I was emaciated and in a lot of pain! A nice lady finally came and rescued me from the scary, cold shelter. I had to be isolated for several weeks, however, while I healed. Because of this, I really missed out on proper socialization with other cats. I am learning how to play with other cats, but I’m still a little rough at times. I do love other animals, though! I live with several cats and dogs. I would love to find a home with a kitty and/or dog buddy! I am very good at entertaining myself, though, so I could be an only kitty, as well.
