CB Kendall Fuller to miss Sunday’s game vs. Arizona Cardinals

It looks like Washington’s top cornerback Kendall Fuller will miss yet another game to open up the 2020 season, as ESPN’s John Keim reports that the veteran will set yet again on Sunday against the cardinals with a leg injury.

Fuller, who was acquired in free agency this past summer, missed the season-opener against the Philadelphia Eagles, which led to Ronald Darby, Jimmy Moreland, and Fabian Moreau stepping up as the starting group. It will once again fall on those three guys to try and contain Arizona’s star-studded receiving core this week.

The trio played well a week ago, with both Moreland and Moreau come away with interceptions, but the test will be much tougher this week around.

We will hope that Washington can stay afloat and that Fuller will be healthy enough to play next weekend.
