Among the calls officials made that aroused the ire of Cincinnati Bengals' fans during the fourth quarter of Sunday's AFC championship loss to the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium was a pass-interference call against Bengals defensive back Mike Hilton with less than five minutes remaining in a 20-20 game that CBS rules analyst Gene Steratore said shouldn't have drawn a penalty.

"When you look and see the hand around the waist like that, you do want to see a significant turn as well," Steratore said during the broadcast. "It's not a big foul to me in my opinion, guys. There's some movement there. But that's not a big hook and turn in my opinion."

From NFL on CBS via Twitter:

Earlier in the fourth quarter, Chiefs defensive end Frank Clark wasn't penalized for taking an extra three or four steps after Joe Burrow released a pass and pushing the Bengals' quarterback to the ground.

In the game's final moments, the Chiefs' Orlando Brown was not penalized despite what some saw as a blatant hold of the Bengals' Trey Hendrickson as Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes scrambled to set up a game-winning field goal.

In addition, many on social media noted a block in the back that wasn't called during Skyy Moore's 29-yard punt return late in the game, and thought Bengals running back Samaje Perine was close enough to a ball Burrow threw that officials shouldn't have called intentional grounding.

The Enquirer's Charlie Goldsmith wrote about the last-minute mistakes that cost the Bengals.
