CBS Postgame Show analyst Phil Simms had Cincinnati Bengals fans doing searches for "Mike Hilton" after saying after the Bengals' Week 14 win against the Cleveland Browns that he didn't see Hilton return from leaving the field gingerly early in the first quarter.
Hilton returned to the game a short time later and played well, unbeknownst to Simms.
"The only bad thing is - Mike Hilton," Simms said during the show. "I didn't see him come back in the game. They lost their best corner in Chidobe Awuzie - he's out. But so far they've managed it very well."
The Enquirer's Kelsey Conway tweeted that she talked to Hilton after the game:
Mike Hilton just told me when he went down he thought it was going to be a serious knee injury, he scared himself. Avoided what could have been a huge blow for the #Bengals defense

From Hilton after the game:
Great Team Win! Keep Stacking #RuleTheJungle #WhoDey

The Bengals did have to play most of Sunday's game in Cincinnati without receivers Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins.
And there was bad news after the game from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, who reported via Twitter that Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson is expected to miss several weeks with a broken wrist.
