Play-by-play announcer Jim Nantz pointed out early in the second quarter of CBS' broadcast of the Cincinnati Bengals' Week 15 win against the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay that there was an issue on the throwing hand of Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow that the medical staff appeared to be assessing on the sideline.

"Oh my gosh, we've gotten to the point where the pinkie - it's a huge deal," CBS color analyst Tony Romo joked. "I never thought I'd see the day where the pinkie - you've got a cut on your pinkie nail and you've got other guys playing through broken ribs."

"We'll see how it affects his throwing," Nantz replied. "Hopefully it won't. It could affect his throwing?"

"I'm not going there," Romo said. "I had a broken pinkie one time and I was able to throw. A cut on the pinkie …"

From the Bengals via Twitter after the game:

During the first quarter, Romo said Bengals head coach Zac Taylor made a poor decision in challenging Mike Evans' catch on fourth down.
