- Now CBS4 weather with Chief Meteorologist Craig Setzer.

CRAIG SETZER: And perfect weather for that launch as well. And perfect weather for us, too, down here in South Florida. Here's our Keys Cam for this evening. Just a few high clouds out there. I think it's gonna make for a very, very nice sunset for South Florida and the Keys as well. Just enough kind of reflective lighting up there off the cirrus clouds.

76 in Miami. 76, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood. 77 in Key West. Zero on the stickiness scale. The air remains nice and dry. East-southeast breeze at 10 and no rain, of course.

High temperatures today right around 80 degrees. The normal high is 82. We're gradually inching up, as I said we would, and we're gonna continue that inching up through Friday. And then temperatures go up a little more dramatically for the weekend. Humidity comes in on Sunday as well.

Current temperatures right now in the mid to upper 70s. A very, very nice evening. There's the relative humidity, anywhere from the 40% to 50% range. So that's looking good. And the breeze also looking good. Only a gentle east breeze anywhere from seven to 14 miles an hour right now.

Through the day today, we've seen these high clouds blowing across us as the branch of the jet stream is over us, carrying some of those clouds our way. And the low clouds not producing any precipitation, just moving off to the west. Fair-weather clouds. Statewide looking good as well. North to south, really no problems.

Lows tonight once again in the 60s along the coast to 50s inland for tomorrow under a mostly sunny sky once again. Temperatures 80s statewide. Tomorrow night, temperatures in the 60s once again and 50s well inland. And then on Friday, a little bit warmer. Temperatures in the low to mid 80s for highs. And if this extended on to Saturday and Sunday, it would warm up quite a bit.

Temperatures across the country have warmed quite a bit ahead of a storm system in the middle of the nation. Temperatures in the 70s all the way up to the Great Lakes. Still chilly in the Northeast with 50s and 60s. But the mid-Atlantic into the Southeast, temperatures in the 70s. And 70s back to the Southwest. And hot in the desert. 91 right now in Phoenix.

Our forecast for another pleasant night. Cooler inland lows from the upper 50s to the mid 60s. Pretty much what we've seen the past several nights. Tomorrow, lots of sun, nice and dry. Pretty much what we've seen the last several days. High near 82.

On the water, winds also nice and light, southeast at 10. Seas two feet or less. A light chop on the bays. Surf temperature, 76.

Taking us through the rest of the week into the weekend, it's a gradual warm-up the next couple of days. And then a little bit steeper of warm-up for Saturday and Sunday. Humidity comes in Sunday as well. And our rain chances finally start to come back up, a sign that we're not out of dry season yet. But we're gonna get into that April thunderstorm pattern. Back to you.
