CCTV shows Myanmar police storming university

More than a dozen male teachers were attacked during the siege on Sunday, according to the university representative.

State media said security forces were keeping a presence at hospitals and universities as part of efforts to enforce the law.

"They forcibly entered the gate while our teachers were declining to do so (open the gate)," a representative of the Mandalay Technological University told Reuters in a chat.

"They forced our teacher to lie down. They cursed and hit saying, 'If you lift your head up, we will shoot'."
