Which CD1 candidates qualified for the ballot? Here's what we know.

Thirteen Democrats and two Republicans vying to represent Rhode Island's 1st Congressional District have qualified for a spot on the ballot.

All candidates vying to fill the vacant seat had to collect at least 500 signatures from registered voters in the district by Friday. The Secretary of State's Office has now finished certifying those signatures, and will hold a lottery on Wednesday evening to determine the order in which candidates' names appear on the ballot.

Wednesday also marks the deadline for candidates to officially withdraw from the race. If any candidates who qualified suspend their campaigns after Wednesday, their names will still appear on the ballot.

No independent candidates turned in enough signatures to earn a spot on the ballot, according to the Secretary of State's Office.
