CDC OK for COVID-19 booster shot makes 500K Marylanders eligible

At least 500,000 Maryland adults just became eligible for a booster shot of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. While most people were sleeping, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention approved boosters for a wide swath of the population that includes people 65 and older, adults at risk because of health conditions and adults at risk of exposure in the workplace or institutional setting.
