Cedar Grove names new high school principal as Dustin Bayer departs

Cedar Grove High School Principal Dustin Bayer is leaving for a job in another school district.

“Mr. Bayer served the students of Cedar Grove as an innovative and forward thinking leader. We wish him well in his continued journey of serving children,” Superintendent Anthony M. Grosso wrote in an email.

Jody Inglis, Cedar Grove High School vice principal, was appointed the new principal at the high school on May 9, Grosso stated.

"I want to publicly recognize Mr. Bauer and thank him for his commitment and work he has done for our high school and district as a whole," said Dawn Daura, president of the Board of Education, at its May 9 meeting.

Bayer began as principal at the high school in the fall of 2020. Prior to coming to Cedar Grove, he was director of counseling for the Montclair School District and a school counselor at Mount Olive High School, according to his LinkedIn profile.
