Cedar Park Non-Profit Hosts Guinness World Record Challenge
CEDAR PARK, TX — As part as an effort to advance awareness for the needs of families within the Cedar Park Community, Reveal Resource Center will host an event centered on breaking a Guinness World Record with a challenge to create the World's Largest Diaper Cake at the Twin Lakes Fellowship Campus in Cedar Park, TX.
Beginning January 2020, Reveal Resource Center began helping families meet their diaper needs, and in partnership with Austin Diaper Bank has received 6,000 diapers a month to serve approximately 240 babies each month; Reveal Resource Center counts a monthly distribution of approximately 14,000, serving over 550 babies monthly, and looks to the community for assistance to help fill the gap. Their goal is to collect 50,000 diapers to serve families for another year.
If you'd like to help, the Center is calling on local businesses to join community leaders, friends and neighbors to host diaper drives throughout the community. In your efforts to collect diapers, you'll help create the largest diaper cake in the world right here in Cedar Park, which is scheduled to take place Saturday, Sept. 26 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the uncertainty regarding social gatherings, participants are asked to click HERE for important updates and announcements.
