To the victors go the spoils and the Dallas Cowboys, who finished 12-5 for the third straight season and won the NFC East title for the second time in three years, were well represented in The Associated Press All-Pro Team.

The Cowboys had a league-high nine players earn AP All-Pro honors, including four on the first team and five on the second team.

Receiver CeeDee Lamb, cornerback DaRon Bland, right guard Zack Martin and kicked Brandon Aubrey earning first-team honors. Quarterback Dak Prescott, left tackle Tyron Smith, left guard Tyler Smith, edge rusher Micah Parsons and punter Bryan Anger were named to the second team.

It was business as usual for Martin, who earns his seventh AP All-Pro first-team honor, Martin now ties Bob Lilly and Randy White for the most AP All-Pro first-team nods in franchise history. He is one of only 25 players all-time in the NFL to notch seven first-team honors.

For Lamb, Bland and Aubrey, it was the proper first-time reward after record-breaking seasons from each.

Lamb, named All-Pro first-team for the first time, caught a league-leading 135 receptions for 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns. His receptions and receiving yards totals set franchise records, breaking marks set by Michael Irvin back in 1995. Lamb was a second-team All-Pro in 2022.

Bland couldn’t be denied his first AP All-Pro first-team honor after leading the NFL with nine interceptions including setting an NFL record with five interception returns for touchdowns.

The same is true for Aubrey, who has the finest first season of any kicker in league history. He set a new NFL record for consecutive field goals made to start a career (35). His 36 makes on the season led the NFL and his 99 kickoff touch backs set a single-season NFL record.

Prescott lead the NFL in touchdown passes with 36 while throwing for 4,516 yards to earn his All-Pro second-team honor. It’s his first time on first or second team.

Ditto for Tyler Smith, who is in his second season after being picked in the first round in 2022. He was arguably the team’s best offensive lineman, allowing one sack and 17 pressures on 942 snaps.

It was a return to glory for Tyron Smith, who earned his third career second-team honor but first since 2016.

Parsons is on the All-Pro team for the third time in his three-year career but its first time on second team. Parsons led the Cowboys with a career-high 14 sacks and led the league with 99 quarterback pressures. Pittsburgh’s T.J. Watt and Cleveland’s Myles Garrett were named to the first team at edge rusher ahead of Parsons.

Anger set a career-high with a punting average of 51.4 yards. It’s his second time being named to the second team in his three seasons with the Cowboys.
