The weather is hot and sticky in Ohio right now. Snow and cold are probably the furthest things from your mind. But it’s July, and that means Christmas in July. Who doesn’t love to celebrate with festive drinks and deals?

Christmas in July is in full swing at many Stark County restaurants. From discounts on gift cards to secret prizes and fun holiday-themed drinks, you can celebrate Christmas a few months early.

Codex Brewing, at 6305 Whipple Ave. NW in Jackson Township, is offering its Unparalleled Glory beer for Christmas in July. The beer has an 9.3% ABV and 19 IBU.

“The snap of a few spices, a quick whiff of honey and the beer blazed forth in Unparalleled Glory. Based on one of Jason’s first homebrew recipes and refined over the years, our take on this holiday tradition is brewed with honey, fresh ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg,” states codexbrewing.com.

Nathan’s Patio Bar & Grill owner Nathan Milleman shared that the restaurant will have “Great Lakes Christmas Ale on tap and lots of other food and drink specials” the weekend of July 22-23. Nathan’s Patio is at 725 30th St. NE in Canton.

TD’s Tailgate Grill and Twisted Citrus celebrate Christmas in July with a green envelope promotion. Get a green envelope with your meal. Come back to TD’s Tailgate Grill or Twisted Citrus between Aug. 1 and Aug. 31, and bring the unopened green envelope with you to receive a secret prize.

There’s no trick; every envelope is a winner. The envelope must be opened by a server or bartender for the offer to be valid. Lost of damaged envelopes won’t be replaced. Prizes include 5% to 50% off your bill, a free entree, a $50 gift card, your meal on the house and a free beverage.
