Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with the International Plaza's season opening

The International Plaza opens for its third full season this Sunday, May 7, with festivities celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a cultural celebration of Mexican heritage.

Alma de Mexico, La Marimba, Grupo Alteños del norte, Byron Noble, and Ellas are scheduled to perform during the event.

International Plaza is located at 828 N. Clinton Ave. in Rochester and will be open every Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. through Oct. 15.

The international-themed market serves as an incubator for neighborhood economic development in the El Camino community and celebrates the arts and cultural assets of the area. It is managed in partnership with the Ibero-American Development Corporation and the City of Rochester.
