Prom doesn’t have to be in a school setting. Sweethearts and singles can relive that magical night at The Knight Club.

This is the first adult prom for the Knight Club. General Manager Andrew D’Arcy said the banquet hall wants to give the community an opportunity to dress up and have a romantic night. The event is for people 18 or older.

The prom is from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Feb. 10. Tickets are $30 each or $50 per couple on Eventbrite.

D’Arcy said that although the prom starts after people typically eat dinner, the venue will provide appetizers and desserts. Additionally, there will be a cash bar for attendees 21 or older.

There will be a cocktail menu with Valentine’s Day themed drinks. Cocktail names include the French Kiss, Love Potion Number 9, Sweetheart martini and Tantalizing Tea for Two.

Unlike a regular prom, a king and queen will not be announced at the end of the night. Instead, couple can register to win a his and hers Valentine’s Day gift.

For women, the prize is a heart-shaped gem necklace or a pair of angel and devil heart earrings. For men, the prize is a love coupon book.

The Knight Club is located at 1195 Gratiot Blvd. in Marysville.
