Mother’s Day buffet brunch at 1712 Restaurant & Tavern

Mother’s Day and brunch are a popular pairing. 1712 Restaurant & Tavern, 1881 County St., Dighton, is hosting a Mother’s Day buffet brunch on Sunday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The menu includes prime rib, chicken parm, baked cod, eggs, sausage, homefries, danishes and more. Mother’s Day menu at Home Plate Bay Street Grill

Home Plate Bay Street Grill, 1094 Bay St., Taunton, has announced a special Mother’s Day menu put together by Chef Shannon. Among many offerings, they’ve got French onion soup, Portuguese-style eggrolls, surf and turf burgers, prime rib, roasted turkey dinner, and haddock Newburg. Mother’s Day brunch buffet at Stoneforge Tavern and Publick House

On Sunday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Stoneforge Tavern and Publick House, 90 Paramount Dr., Raynham, is hosting a Mother’s day brunch buffet. They’ll have a carving station, a yogurt parfait station, and a dessert station. Everybody likes parfaits! The first course has options like fruit salad, Swedish meatballs, shrimp cocktail and Caesar salad. Hot entrees include cranberry rum salmon, homemade baked mac and cheese, scrambled eggs, and French toast casserole. Side dishes are garlic mashed potatoes and honey glazed carrots. How about making a cookie bouquet for Mother’s Day? South Street Cookie Co. will be holding a cookie decorating class at Berkley Beer Company, 10 Ingell St., Taunton, on Saturday, May 13, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. In this class, you’ll be designing mason jar bouquet themed cookies. It’s geared toward beginners, so no former cookie decorating experience is necessary. You’ll practice some basic techniques and all supplies will be provided. Mother’s Day specials at Barrels & Boards

Barrels & Boards, 1285 Broadway, Raynham, is also serving up some Mother’s Day specials. For starters, they’ve got lobster bisque, pan-seared crab cakes and Florentine stuffed mushrooms. Brunch at Hillside Country Club

On Sunday, May 14, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Hillside Country Club, 82 Hillside Ave., Rehoboth, is hosting a Mother’s Day brunch. Breakfast offerings include fresh fruit, cinnamon rolls, sweet potato spring vegetable hash, and a crepe station. For brunch, there’s Boston bibb tomato and corn salad, chicken pomodoro, carved sage and lemon crusted leg of lamb, vegan General Tao’s cauliflower, and more. The meal includes coffee, tea, and juice, and there will be a children’s menu as well as an assorted dessert station. Mother’s Day tea at Middleborough Public Library

The Friends of the Middleborough Public Library are holding an afternoon Mother’s Day tea on Sunday, May 14, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tea will be served in the 1903 portion of the Middleborough Public Library, 102 N. Main St. The Peirce Street entrance will be open. All proceeds will be used to fund programs and special events at the library.
