Celebrate Pride Weekend With Virgin Hotels New York City's Robust Pride Events & Packages
Virgin Hotels New York City wishes the LGBTQ+ community a Happy Pride Month with all the queer-themed events they have planned to coincide with the weekend of The New York City Pride March on June 25th. New York City is the hottest destination to travel to during Pride Month because every day it seems like there’s a major event happening to help the community celebrate ourselves and the ones we love. And Virgin Hotels New York City took that to heart when planning their jam-packed weekend of Pride events. Read on to learn more about what’s happening at Everdene and The Pool Club for a weeklong Pride extravaganza.
The best way to prepare for Pride weekend in New York City is to start by connecting with your inner queer self to help focus your mind and body on the exciting weekend that is due to come. Since International Yoga Day is on June 21st, start the weekend early with a special morning Yoga class in partnership with Alo Yoga and led by Patrick Millard. All proceeds from the class will be donated to the Trevor Project, so while you’re rejuvenating yourself, you know that you’re helping uplift members of the community.

And then there are the Pride events! Starting Thursday, June 22nd, “Hot Cherry” features DJs Stiletto, beewack, PAT, Tjani, Isaiah Sanders and Eden, with a Very Special Guest for a night filled with luxury. And then on Friday, June 23rd, Pride Weekend officially kicks off with “Extra Virgin,” which is designed to be the perfect New York evening. Hosted by Christine Visca and NYC-based fashion designers Carlton Jones, Cesar Galindo, Landeros and Theophilio, the evening will feature music by Steve Travolta, Hex Hector, and a live performance by Joi Cardwell with a very special surprise DJ set.
“Hot Cherry” goes from 9pm - 1am on June 22nd and “Extra Virgin” goes from 6pm - 1am on June 23rd at Everdene.
Saturday the 24th is filled to the brim with events, all in preparation for the Pride March coming your way Sunday. Starting off Saturday is “Love Prism Disco” at The Pool Club for an afternoon and evening filled with poolside delights, featuring Love Prism Swim, Boyyyish and Erik Izquierdo. Happening at Everdene Lounge around the same time as “Love Prism Disco” is “Throb!” featuring Quiana Parks and Brian Henry as they celebrate the 25th anniversary of Janet Jackson’s dance hit single “Throb.” But to cap off the evening, look no further than “It’s All Love,” an event hosted by TexasAngell and BrieBless, featuring DJs Nas Leber, Lafayette Bless, and Godspeed as they put on the creme de la creme of house and disco music.
“Love Prism Disco” lasts from 5pm - 9pm at The Pool Club. “Throb!” lasts from 5pm - 10pm at Everdene, followed by “It’s All Love” from 10pm - 2am.
Sunday kicks off with Everdene's "Queen Supreme Brunch Cabaret" that serves high-energy surprises and spectacles in burlesque, drag, cabaret, and circus over creative eats. In partnership with House of Yes, this Pride weekend drag brunch features host Wesley and DJ Amber Valentine. And after brunch, don't miss "Splash!" which offers an afternoon by the pool with DJs No Promises, DJ Spinelli, Boy Cordero and Purp.
If that sounds like a big day, then just wait till you get to the big event to end Pride Weekend. “Nightbirdz" is presented by Aw Sookie Sookie in partnership with Patrick Duffy. The night will be a grand soiree to close out the festivities as well as serve as the legendary Kevin Aviance's official birthday party, with music by DJs JPatt and Aviance, live performances by extraordinary artists Love Bailey and The Dragon Sisters, and hosted by ballet superstar Gabe Stone Shayer, award winning designer Jérôme LaMaar, and nightlife legend Mother Juan Aviance.
Sunday, June 25th features “Queen Supreme Brunch Cabaret” from 12pm - 4pm at Everdene, “Splash!” from 5pm - 9pm at The Pool Club, and “Nightbirdz” from 8pm - 2am at Everdene.
