Christmas lights: Zoo Lights at the Palm Beach Zoo

Presented by Florida Power & Light Company, FPL SolarNow, this holiday tradition is set to make the season sparkle once again with more than one million eco-friendly lights spread out over the zoo's 23 acres.

Rosemary Square Holiday Happenings

Whether you've been naughty or nice (he knows, but will always play nice for the cameras) there are Weekend Photos with Santa through Dec. 19 on Fridays and Saturdays 6-8 p.m. and on Sundays 5-7 p.m.

Snowfall and a lightshow at The Wishing Tree three times every night at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. through Dec. 31.

There's the Mistletoe Trail, where intrepid adventurers can explore the neighborhood and take pictures under all five of the hanging holiday smooch inducers and then post them with the hashtag #thesquarewestpalm for a chance to be featured on their Instagram page.

Holiday in Paradise with Sandi Tree

West Palm Beach's Holiday in Paradise features the unique 35-foot, 700-ton holiday sand sculpture known as Sandi Tree.

There are nightly music and light shows on the quarter-hour from 6 to 10 p.m., through Dec. 30. In celebration of New Year’s Eve on Dec. 31, Sandi shows will run until midnight. The city’s Centennial Fountain will be synchronized to the music for Sandi’s shows. This year is extra special with Sandi Tree celebrating 10 years and helping her celebrate this milestone are some old friends/sculptures, including "Duke" the rescue pup, "Merry" the mermaid and "Hope" the flamingo. There's also a Tee-ki mini golf to enjoy.

Boca Raton Boat Parade

ICYMI: The 47th annual Holiday Boat Parade lit up the waterways of the city's Intracoastal beginning at C-15 Canal, traveling south, with bleacher viewing at Red Reef Park. This year's parade featured $10,000 in cash and prizes in many categories.

Winterfest with Vanilla Ice

ICYMI: Winterfest was back last week with headliner Vanilla Ice. The holiday festival also featured Michaela Paige, Tom Blake, Nicky Greed. Guests enjoyed retail and holiday shopping, delicious food from vendors, a lounge for adults and Blizzard Beach kids activities.
