Who's singing the national anthem?

Multiplatinum singer-songwriter Jewel will sing the national anthem at this year's Indy 500 race.

Jewel has received four Grammy Award nominations. Her hits include "You Were Meant For Me" and "Who Will Save Your Soul."

Who's the grand marshal?

Actress Stephanie Beatriz, star of Disney's "Encanto" and NBC's Brooklyn Nine-Nine, will serve as the 2023 Indianapolis 500 grand marshal.

Expect to see her telling drivers to report to their cars during the pre-race ceremonies.

Who's the honorary starter?

Actor Adam Driver will wave the green flag at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway kicking off the 2023 race.

Known for his role in "Marriage Story" and as Kylo Ren in the "Star Wars" series, this Hoosier actor has been nominated for various awards, including two Academy Awards.

Who are the Snake Pit performers?

Shaquille O'Neal, the basketball legend also known as "DJ Diesel," was scheduled to perform at the 2023 Race Day concert, but canceled his set on Friday night.

He will be replaced by producer and DJ Valentino Khan.

Headlining the performance is Grammy Award-nominated musician Kaskade. Other Snake Pit artists include Subtronics, John Summit and Jauz.
