  • Chris Pratt was deemed the worst Hollywood Chris on Twitter for the umpteenth time.

  • Apparently this round was the final straw for Pratt's celebrity friends, who rushed to defend him amid legitimate concern from fans.

If you frequent that bird app, you know that every so often, a rousing debate about which Hollywood Chris is the best erupts and takes over the timeline. Usually, Chris Evans, Chris Messina, Chris Pine, and Chris Hemsworth land in the top spots as Chris Pratt comes dead last. And that's exactly what happened this weekend. Only, this round seemed to be the last straw for the Guardians of the Galaxy star's friends.

For the record, most of the critiques stem from Pratt's alleged support of Donald Trump and of a church that is anti-LGBTQ. He also once admitted to exposing himself on the set of Parks and Recreation without consent from the other actors and staffers. And earlier this month, he made light of calls to vote, how people have died for the right to vote, and how voting and policy impacts peoples lives. His ignorant joke went a little something like this: "The heroes before us did not spill their blood only to have their sacrifices wasted by your apathy. The upcoming 2020 People’s Choice Awards is the most consequential vote in the history of mankind times a million infinity." So yeah, people calling him the worst Hollywood Chris isn't totally unjustified, no matter what his fellow Marvel costars and Hollywood friends tweet.

Speaking of, celebs like Mark Ruffalo, Zoe Saldana, Robert Downey Jr., Terry Crews, and director James Gunn rushed to defend Pratt after they got the latest Hollywood Chris poll results.

First off, Ruffalo made some weird comment about Pratt not being "overtly political" while his following list looks like this:

Ruffalo also implied that people can't rank Pratt as the worst Chris and still focus on the election, which is an interesting way to admit you don't know how to multitask!

Saldana said she knows his heart.

Gunn basically asked fans to ignore the institutions Pratt associates with.

While Downey Jr. called Twitter critics "the sinless" who "are casting stones" at Pratt.

Famously problematic Terry Crews also jumped into to defend Pratt.

As you can see, this latest Pratt roast got his friends really worked up, but Twitter continues to do its thing and is now roasting Pratt's defenders and their hypocrisy.

Alright, I think it's time to move on to the next best-celeb-with-the-same-name debate:
