Food Network star Guy Fieri buys another waterfront home in Palm Beach County

Celebrity chef and reality television icon Guy Fieri bought another home in Palm Beach County this past summer, choosing a nearly 10,000 square-foot waterfront property with room for a 100-foot yacht.

The $7.3 million Mediterranean-style house is on a coveted corner lot on Singer Island in Riviera Beach less than 2 miles from the Lake Worth Inlet, also called the Palm Beach Inlet.

In 2021, Fieri paid $3.9 million for a house on secluded Bella Vista Avenue in Lake Worth Beach under the limited liability company Gus Ritchie 1 — a possible play on the names Gus Ferrari and Guy Ritchie, who Fieri has said fans have called him by mistake.

The same LLC name and mailing address were used to buy the Singer Island home in June, according to Palm Beach County Property Appraiser records and a deed filed in official records on July 6.

The Lake Worth Beach home is still owned by the same LLC, county records show. Neither property is homesteaded, which is an indication Fieri isn't ready to become a full-time resident of the Sunshine State just yet.

It's unknown what Fieri has planned for the properties, and Realtor William Gould, who represented the seller in the sale, said he couldn't disclose details of the transaction when contacted.

He did note the growing popularity of waterfront properties in South Florida.

"Singer Island is definitely a very hot location, so is Riviera Beach across the water," Gould said. "Being in close proximity to the water and all the attention Florida's real estate market got in general during Covid has been a real factor."

Tampa-area Realtor Charlie Bodine represented Fieri. He didn't return a message seeking comment.

The Singer Island home is not in a gated community but is located on the dead-end street Coral Way. It has 230 feet of water frontage on the Intracoastal Waterway and a canal.

Built in 2008, it has a total of 9,870 square feet with 6,620 under air conditioning. There is a three-car garage, a large pool, summer kitchen, five bedrooms, hand-carved coral stone fireplaces and pecky cypress ceilings.

The home last sold in June 2022 for $7.9 million. It went back up for sale four months later for $8.8 million.

"The market has changed a little bit," Gould said.

But, Realtors and developers are still bullish on anything waterfront.

Marc Shulman, founding partner of Icon Equity Group, is finishing construction on three condominium buildings on Singer Island in the Town of Palm Beach Shores. The four-story complexes face the inlet and are sold out. Prices were between $2 million and $5 million.

"They are keeping that sleepy beach town feel," Shulman said about Palm Beach Shores. "And that's the way it will remain due to the height restrictions. We think that's a good thing. Not everything has to be 30 stories high."

Fieri, who signed an $80 million, three-year deal with the Food Network in 2021, is frequently seen in Palm Beach County at events, or by chance.

In March, Fieri’s "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” Food Network show featured The Butcher and the Bar, a Boynton Beach restaurant and butcher shop, Cheffrey Eats, a Boca Raton, brewery-based food truck and La Cosinita Latina, a local-favorite Puerto Rican restaurant in Palm Springs.

In December, when Fieri and his crew filmed at various Palm Beach County restaurants, they visited Rose’s Daughter, a cozy Italian-American restaurant in Delray’s Pineapple Grove district. 

A 2021 Palm Beach County tour included West Palm Beach's Cholo Soy Cocina and The Butcher Shop Beer Garden and Grill, which is now closed. Fieri also stopped in 2021 at the Coolinary Café in northern Palm Beach Gardens.

He profiled the now-closed Havana Hideout on his hit show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" in 2009.

South Beach Wine and Food Festival founder and director Lee Brian Schrager told The Palm Beach Post for a 2022 article about the event that Fieri has a "cult-like following."

"People listen to what Guy says," Schrager said. "Rachael Ray was the girl next door. Guy is the guy next door."
