Which Celebrity Christmas Decorations Are Perfectly On-Brand? Let Us Show You

From Donatella to Mariah, this year’s best celebrity Christmas celebrations were perfectly on-brand.

It’s that time of year, when—on Instagram at least—stars really are just like us: decorating their houses for the holidays. But when it comes to celebrity Christmas decor, there is a wide range of tacks taken by your faves in 2018, including but not limited to: outrageous colors, fancy tree designers, matching pet outfits, Instagram videos set to Christmas music, listening to their own Christmas music, monochromatic trees, traditional trees, Nutcracker-theme entryways, and more. And the more that we thought about it, the more that we felt that truly the best posts from stars sharing their decorative flair tended to be those that also perfectly captured their essence. A tall order? Not for these tinsel-covered trees! Without further ado, these are the celebrity Christmas decorations from this year that are perfectly on-brand.

Bobby Berk

The Queer Eye home specialist’s tree is understated, with a quiet stoicism—just like Berk on the show.

Bethenny Frankel

While not in her signature red, Frankel adopted a Skinnygirl-adjacent pink for the season.

Kylie Jenner

A very extra tree is well suited to the world’s most famous family.

Britney Spears

A close-up of Brit’s tree doesn’t show us everything we want to see, but she couldn’t have picked a word that more appropriately encapsulates how we feel watching her Instagram dance and/or art videos.

Hilaria Baldwin

The yoga instructor somehow got all of her little ones in front of this very appropriately abbreviated/New York–apartment-size tree.

Gwyneth Paltrow

This tree Instagram, while likely not Paltrow’s own design, does represent a certain enviable perfect California-by-way-of-Goop minimalism.

Heidi Pratt

Heidi’s gone all out with these entryway decorations, as only Heidi can.

Dorinda Medley

The Real Housewife of New York who famously makes it nice for Christmas stays traditional with her tree.

Kelly Rowland

Not only can we appreciate that Kelly took the time to make this video look like an old-timey home production, we love that she’s listening to Destiny’s Child.

Emily Ratajkowski

EmRata knows how to create a striking silhouette, one that says, “I’m hot and it’s Christmas.”

Constance Wu

Have tissues nearby for this little video of Wu’s oft-Instagrammed rabbit hanging out in front of her tree, listening to Bing Crosby.

Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey doesn’t have to post her own Christmas tree or decorations for two reasons: One, she is the undisputed Christmas queen (who else are you listening to at your holiday fetes?), and two, she’s currently on a very Christmassy tour in Europe. Enjoy this video of her singing “All I Want for Christmas Is You” with her children (Dem Kidz) on backup, and just imagine the tinsel she has at home.

J.Lo and A-Rod

Not only are J.Lo and A-Rod the perfect couple decorating their tree together, but J.Lo managed to take art-directing the ornaments into a body-goals moment.

Donatella Versace

Ciao tutti! Donatella’s chic tree has matching decorative collars for her dogs, a slo-mo ending, and RuPaul. And she mentions the environment.
