Popstar and The Masked Singer judge Rita Ora has confirmed that she will be appearing on this week's Celebrity Gogglebox.

Sharing a photo of herself on the sofa alongside her singer Elena on Twitter, the singer revealed that she was excited to be on the show. "Can't wait for you guys to see this we had so much fun on @C4Gogglebox!!" she said. "Tune in tonight at 9pm."

"So excited! gogglebox is my fave show so this is the best of both worlds colliding," one fan replied, while another added: "My fave duo! So excited to watch it."

Rita and Elena aren't the only new faces to appear on the series, with Channel 4 previously revealing that Dragon's Den stars Deborah Meaden and Peter Jones would also be sharing their thoughts on the week's TV shows.

Meanwhile, returning stars include Rylan Clark and his mother Linda, presenters Judi Love and Charlene White, comedians Guz Khan and Jamali Maddix and Radio DJ Zoe Ball with her dad Johnny and son Woody Cook.

Earlier this year, Rita confirmed the rumours that she had tied the knot with Marvel director and actor Taika Waititi.

Speaking about her wedding in an interview with Heart Breakfast back in January, Rita explained that it had been a low-key event. "It was perfect. It was exactly, exactly how I wanted it," she said.

"It was nice and perfect, completely how I wanted it. Just to myself. Nice and sweet. Sorry it's not that interesting [but] one day we'll throw a big party and I'll figure out a time to throw a big, big party."

Celebrity Gogglebox airs and streams on Friday nights at 9pm on Channel 4.
