Fitness trainer to the stars Harley Pasternak has created a series of fitness videos with the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, aimed at helping guests beat the effects of jet lag and ease neck and back pain related to screen time and long business meetings.
The celebrity trainer -- his roster of A-list clients includes everyone from Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande to Adam Levine and Gwyneth Paltrow -- has teamed up with the luxury hotel brand to develop a travel-themed workout series that addresses some of the most common fitness challenges for travelers.
Guests can choose between five fitness videos: FitwithFS Challenge; Total Beach Body; Jet Lag Rescue; Out of Office Fitness; and Hotel Fitness Favorites.
"We're all time starved, and finding time to work out and stay active is often a huge challenge -- especially when travelling," Pasternak said in a press release.
"But travel can be the best time to get active and when our bodies need it most, whether we're exploring a new destination or shaking off that jet lag."
One of the best ways to fight a jet-lagged body? Going outside will help the body acclimatize to the local time zone, says Pasternak. In "Jet Lag Rescue," he also devises a set of outdoor activities and exercises.
For business travelers who may suffer from neck and lower back pain due to extended screen time and sitting, Pasternak's exercise plan targets the back, shoulders and neck.
And in "Hotel Fitness Favorites," Pasternak shows guests how to take full advantage of the hotel gym, which he helped redesign across the system as the Four Seasons Global Fitness Advisor.
The collection of videos also includes supporting how-to videos and will be available on the hotel app and on its YouTube channel.
