Celebs Go Dating star Adam Collard left experts Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson shocked by revealing he'd never heard of the term 'monogamy'.

On tonight's (August 23) episode, Adam sat down with the pair to discuss his hopes of finding 'the one' on the show.

"I want someone if they're the one," he said. "I still do think there's going to be that one person that completely changes my mind."

However, Adam's search for true love didn't get off to the greatest of starts, with the star apparently confused by the concept of monogamy, even after two stints on Love Island.

"You're gonna have to tell us what 'monogamous' means," Adam said with a giggle after Paul asked him if a monogamous relationship is what he's after.

However, Adam's questions over monogamy weren't the only surprising moment from the meeting, as he then revealed that he'd hooked up with fellow contestant Lottie Moss after the first mixer.

"Never in the history of the agency has this happened," a shocked Anna replied, telling Adam he was like "a rat up a drainpipe".

"Never in our time here has a celebrity got it on with another celebrity," Anna added.

Across town, Lottie revealed the hook-up details to a friend, explaining the attraction was due to their shared interest in tattoos.

"I don't know anyone who doesn't find him hot," she justified.

The episode also saw Spuddz, Mark-Francis Vandelli and Vanessa Feltz all head out on dates. While Spuddz and Mark-Francis seemed to have a good time, Vanessa pulled the short straw after struggling to converse with salmon smoker Richard.

"I'm just completely glazed over," the journalist said in her confessional before making a swift exit halfway through the main course.

"There was no spark whatsoever. I don't think we had anything in common at all."

Celebs Go Dating airs on E4 at 9pm.
