The daytime talk show host posted a photo of the trio, showing off her incredibly toned physique in a palm tree-printed swimsuit—with many celebs commenting with fire emojis.
The Live! with Kelly and Ryan host is known for her workouts: She credits HIIT and dance-cardio for keeping her fit.
It may officially be fall, but Kelly Ripa, 51, is still rocking a swimsuit. Over the weekend, Kelly and her hubby, actor Mark Consuelos, celebrated their friend Jake Shears' birthday, and Kelly shared a super cheeky swimsuit pic to honor Shears.
"Happy birthday @jakeshears, thank you for letting us be a part of your new album's cover art. Coming soon!" Kelly captioned the pic, which features her posing poolside in front of a gorgeous sunset alongside Consuelos and Shears. Kelly is facing away from the camera, showing off her incredibly toned legs and booty in a cute one-piece and a wrap.
In the comments, E! News' Justin Sylvester asked, "What's the name of the 1st single," and Kelly had an amazing response. "Thirst bucket," she wrote.
And Kelly puts in the work to get so fit. She works out up to five days a week, doing 60- to 90-minute sessions taking dance-based classes with Anna Kaiser, a former dancer and the founder of AKT fitness studio in New York City. The classes are a mix of dance and HIIT (high-intensity interval training.)
“The best thing about the marriage of dance and HIIT is that you’re moving on multiple planes of motion and you’re having fun,” Kaiser previously told Women’s Health. “You really need to focus on different types of muscular contractions and angles, not just on getting through exercises for the sake of feeling a burn. If you do the same motions over and over, you’re not going to get the full benefit.”
She also works out for her mental health. “There are a lot of people that don’t have to work out, and I am so happy for them, but I have to work out for my body type,” Kelly told People. “It’s part of my routine. It’s part of my ritual. It doesn’t just make me look better, but it makes me emotionally feel better.”
