LOS ANGELES (WJW) — Celine Dion, 55, surprised the country by showing up to present the award for Album of the Year at last weekend’s Grammy ceremony.
Dion, who went public last year with her stiff-person syndrome diagnosis after canceling a leg of her tour, has steered clear of the limelight in recent months.
Fans stunned: Celine Dion snubbed from Rolling Stone’s best singer’s list
However, as seen in a video posted to Instagram by singer-songwriter Sonyae Elise, Dion was spotted backstage proving that she’s still got the pipes we all know and love her for.
In the video, the living legend is seen embracing Sonyae while singing and harmonizing like nothing.
Also backstage, Dion was reportedly seen “riffing” with Stevie Wonder and also caught up with Taylor Swift, who some fans felt snubbed Dion while accepting the Album of the Year award.
According to what a source told Page Six, Dion was not upset at all and the two talked.

“[Dion] wanted to show everyone that she’s doing alright. She has good days and bad days,” the source told the outlet “… it’s a painful disease, but it’s not a death sentence.”
