Once upon a time, in an internet landscape far far away, someone named carfreak0801 posted a video to YouTube of an animated banana dancing to "Peanut Butter Jelly Time," a song written by the Buckwheat Boyz. That video, posted in 2008, now has nearly 120 million views. Among the viewers? CELINE. FREAKING. DION.

Okay, we don't know that for a fact, as the song could have slipped into her psyche some other way, but we do know she sang said song with the voice on an angel to Gayle King. Gayle was wildly unphased, but I, for one, have rewatched Celine singing "peanut butter jelly, peanut butter jelly, peanut butter jelly with a baseball bat" approximately two dozen times. It is instantly iconic.

To give you a little more context, the song came up during the lightening round of Celine's CBS interview. The first half took place behind the scenes at Celine's first U.S. stop on the "Courage" tour and continued with a sit-down interview in which Celine talked about the new album, coping with the loss of her husband and manager three years ago, and how her kids are doing.

It's quite emotional, but in the lightening round, the Buckwheat Boyz anthem lightens up the mood. Gayle asked Celine what her favorite meal is, to which Celine said, while not really a meal, she "love[s] peanut butter so bad." And then she sings the song!!! Like it's no big deal! God, she's the best.

Anywho, if you're curious, her favorite actual meal involves Lebanese food like baba ghanoush and hummus, she clarified post-song. Also, the last TV show she binge watched, despite not knowing what the phrase means (can you IMAGINE being so successful/productive that you don't know what binge watching is?!), was Young Sheldon, so if you want to live like Celine, grab your Skippy and turn on some Sheldon.
