Celtics’ Aaron Nesmith surprised his mother with a brand new car
On Thursday, Boston Celtics forward Aaron Nesmith posted a video on Instagram of him surprising his mother, Erine, with a brand new car outside of their home.
Nesmith thanked his mother with the new car for all that she did for him and his brother growing up. He teamed up with Kia to make the gesture possible, something she was completely surprised by. Based on the photos, she looked to be in love with her new car.
The gesture of a player gifting their parents or other family members cars or houses often produces some of the best, heartwarming reactions on social media. That was once again the case during the moment between Aaron and his mother.
Nesmith just wrapped up a solid first season in the NBA with the Celtics.
The 14th overall pick averaged 4.7 points and 2.8 rebounds in 46 games. He shot 43.8% from the field, including 37% from 3-point range. He scored a season-high 16 points three times, each time within the last month of the year.
