The Boston Celtics are actually looking fairly healthy heading into their first of two away games hosted by the Philadelphia 76ers today in one of the NBA’s mini-series scheduled to help reduce travel in the midst of a pandemic.

The Celtics have only listed a handful of players on their last injury report to the league, all three of them out and not traveling with the team to Philadelphia per head coach Brad Stevens on Tuesday. That list includes both All-NBA small forward Jayson Tatum, who is on the mend after returning an asymptomatic positive COVID-19 test, and teammate Carsen Edwards, who is out in the league’s health and safety protocols for undisclosed reasons.

It also includes second-year wing Romeo Langford, who is still recovering from surgery on a tendon in his wrist torn in the 2020 Disney bubble playoffs.

As for the 76ers, they look to be even healthier with only former Celtic center Vincent Poirier and big man Mike Scott out in the health and safety protocols and for a swollen right knee, respectively.

The game should be a good one with both teams shaking off some rust; tipoff is at 7 p.m. Eastern Time.
