This Friday is Jayson Tatum Day here at NBC Sports Boston. Be sure to check out our exclusive content around Tatum throughout the day, both online and on the broadcast of Celtics-Timberwolves, which begins Friday at 7 p.m. with Celtics Pregame Live followed by tip-off at 8 p.m. You can also stream it on the MyTeams App.
The Boston Celtics are well-rested after the NBA All-Star break, but that doesn't mean they're fully healthy.
There's still reason to be bullish on the Celtics, though: Boston is 11-2 in its past 13 games and faces a Minnesota team that won't have star center Karl-Anthony Towns.
Should you back the C's in their first game back from the break? Here are our betting predictions for Celtics-Timberwolves, as well as two NBA locks against the spread.

Boston Celtics at Minnesota Timberwolves, 8 p.m. ET
Moneyline: The Timberwolves are in full-on tank mode, with just one win since Jan. 9. Even without Walker, the Celtics (-300) should handle their business in Minnesota.
Point Spread: You could argue this is a trap game for Boston, but the Celtics (-7) have covered in six consecutive contests against the Wolves, who are an abysmal 1-11 against the spread in their past 12 games even after adding D'Angelo Russell ahead of the NBA trade deadline.
Point Total: Minnesota owns the NBA's fourth-worst defense and plays at the league's seventh-fastest pace. That's a recipe for a lot of points, so I like the OVER on the 228 point total.
Darren's record picking the Celtics' moneyline, point spread and point total: 72-44-1 (61.5% success rate)
NBA Lock of the Night
Darren's record picking NBA locks against the spread: 37-39-1 (48.0% success rate)
