Central EMS is hosting a job fair to build its Augusta team, more than 50 jobs available

Central EMS will soon become Augusta’s ambulance provider and it will need a local team to help carry out the job.

The company is organizing a job fair 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Hilton Garden Inn in Augusta at 1065 Stevens Creek Rd.

The company is hiring for a variety of jobs from EMTs and paramedics to supervisors and mechanics.

The company’s president and founder, Gary Coker, said Tuesday that Central EMS couldn’t presently give an exact number of how many positions they are looking to fill, but they will need to recruit at least 100 people and already have around 40.

According to a news release, Central EMS offers competitive wages and benefits, including paid time off and professional training opportunities.
