St. John's junior Brett Hague finished fourth in the javelin with a personal-best 65.06 meters. Junior Maguire Petersen is in second place in the decathlon out of 20 competitors.
Women’s track and field
College of St. Benedict's Fiona Smith finished fourth in the 10,000-meter run at NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships to earn All-American honors with a time of 35:24.97.
St. Cloud State Women's Track & Field's senior Hannah Arason is in 12th place in the heptathlon after the first day of competition at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Through four events, she has scored 3,001 points, and is 591 points away from the leader.
