The CSU Board of Trustees chose an outside search firm to help with the search process, the university announced Friday.

The board chair says it is searching for an individual who will help prepare students for a globalized future driven by technology.

Current president Jack Thomas announced back in May he will not seek to renew his contract which will expire at the end of the month.

An investigation was launched last year after multiple women accused him of creating a toxic work environment.

The investigation found no issues related to Thomas’ leadership style.
