Central Valley Christian's Jaeden Moore receives Tri-County Conference's MVP award

Central Valley Christian senior Jaeden Moore left no doubt who was the best high school football player in the Tri-County Conference Kings Canyon Division this year.

Moore was recently named the 2022 Tri-County Conference's most valuable player after helping lead the Cavaliers to an outright league title.

A starter at tight and defensive end, the University of Oregon commit caught seven passes for 128 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries to guide CVC to an undefeated 4-0 conference record.

On defense, he led CVC with 29 tackles, including seven for a loss and four sacks, as the Cavaliers allowed only 16.25 points per game during their league championship run. The 6-4 230-pound Moore even blocked a punt, forced a fumble, recovered two loose balls, and knocked down four passes in league action.

CVC junior offensive guard Caleb Noeske was selected as the Tri-County Conference Kings Canyon Division, lineman of the year.

Kingsburg senior running back Trace Jackson was tabbed as the conference's offensive player of the year, and Washington Union junior linebacker Kado Felder was the league's defensive player.

His peers picked Kerman's Damon Jenkins, a former Fresno State,H and NFL player, as the conference's coach of the year.

The league's respective coaches voted for all-league awards.
