CEO of Norfolk Southern train company meets with Ohio residents

Outrage is brewing in East Palestine following the unannounced visit of Norfolk Southern’s CEO, Alan Shaw. The company says they’ve distributed more than $2.6 million dollars to help residents and the EPA says there are still “no water quality concerns.” The Department of Transportation says they will hold the company accountable, adding that “until the number of derailments is zero,” everyone in their rail system must prioritize making safety improvements.
