A new cereal bar and dessert shop in Columbus is opening this weekend, specializing in cereal-themed treats and boasting an extensive cereal bar with over 50 different brands.

Outta the Box is located at 1064 Country Club Road on the East Side near Whitehall and will open as a pop-up on Saturday before it moves into its permanent location on June 23.

Cereal brands include classics like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Frosted Flakes, Cheerios and more, in addition to limited edition and "exotic" cereals. Toppings can also be added, like caramel, chocolate syrup, Oreos, sour worms and brownie bites. Milk—including 1%, 2%, oat and almond—bowls, cereals and toppings are included.

Some of the cereal-themed treats it offers include Lucky Mixx, made with Lucky Charms, Chex and white chocolate; "Flint Stones," made with Fruity Pebbles, cream cheese and powdered sugar; and strawberry lemonade caramel apples. The shop will also sell items like cereal-themed candles.

The pop-up shop is currently offering limited seating in-store and catering services but primarily operates as a pickup and carryout location.

Hours are Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
