Ceremonial shrunken head returning to the Amazon after being displayed in U.S.

Researchers at Mercer University are sending a shrunken head back to Ecuador after discovering the head, called a “tsantsa” in Amazonian languages, is genuine. The head had been on display in the U.S. for decades and was even used as a film prop in 1979.
