How long have you been in business in Spring Hill?

Two years.

What was the first job you ever had?

Associate at The Bon Ton retail store when I was 16 years old.

How has your career path placed you in your current position?

I have my Master's Degree in exercise physiology and have worked in multiple universities as a college professor and worked in the field for The Gatorade Sports Science Institute. My passion is sand volleyball, and I have been able to merge my career and my passion together.

How do you give back to the community through your business?

We host charity events such as our Annual Operation Gratitude Tournament, which gives back to the nonprofit of Operation Gratitude and supports our local first responders. We also run the Clearview Invitational Tournament, which is a tournament that supports the Department of Child Services. We also coach our local youth sand volleyball players and support corporate events for local companies. Lastly, we have teamed up with local companies for sponsorship opportunities and community events.

Who is your favorite business mentor or role model?

My mentors have been Dr. Gavin Moir from East Stroudsburg University and Melissa Anderson from PepsiCo. I don't have a business mentor now that I have moved into this role, but it sounds like a good idea to find one.

What is your favorite thing to do when not at work?

Play beach volleyball, read, and hang out with my boyfriend, friends, and pups!

What did you want to be when you were a child?

When I was younger, I wanted to be a doctor. I have one year of my Ph.D. but that's the closest I am going to get.
