Champion ready: SWS Chiefs co-ed youth hockey teams chalk up another round of titles

FALL RIVER — The co-ed players from the SWS youth hockey teams based out of Driscoll Arena recently chalked up another achievement on the ice.

The SWS Chiefs U12 'A' co-ed team won the Tier III Mass State championship on Championship Sunday after beating Burlington at Cushing Academy, 6-4.

The SWS U12 'B' co-ed team was victorious in their SCHL league championship game, 7-0, over Martha’s Vineyard at Thayer Arena in Warwick.

The SWS U12 'B' team recently won the Tier IV Mass Hockey State championships in Rockland, beating Tewksbury in the finals, 3-0, and going 5-1 in the tournament.

The Chiefs have had a phenomenal record season mark of 22-3-2.
