Changes coming to dog park at Central Winds Park in Winter Springs

New changes are coming to a Winter Springs Park that will affect your four-legged friend.

On Monday, parkgoers will need to use the Hicks Avenue parking lot and enter the dog park through the new gate next to the Cross Seminole Trail.

The changes are happening because work crews recently began construction on the new pickleball courts at Central Winds Park.

According to a new release, the change in parking allows the dog park to remain open while construction crews access the nearby pickleball construction site.

The dog park is located on the west end of Central Winds Park.
