Just like BBC One and ITV, Channel 4 has revealed its TV programming schedule for Christmas Day.

The big highlights look to be Benedict Cumberbatch's The Tiger Who Came to Tea, which gets going at 1.50pm, and the Great British Bake Off team back for their festive special featuring a bunch of returning contestants at 7.10pm.

Elsewhere, Jamie and Jimmy's Festive Feast aims to get the party started at 8.30pm, while First Dates at Christmas will be holding out the mistletoe at 9.30pm.

Movies such as Ice Age, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York and Back to the Future are all queued up throughout the day too.

There's plenty of animation on offer – at 7.35am, there's We're Going on a Bear Hunt, Matt Groening's custard-coloured favourites The Simpsons get a two-hour slot from 8.40am, and festive perennials Father Christmas, The Snowman and The Snowman and the Snowdog will all be on in the afternoon.

For the music lovers out there, pop icon Kylie Minogue gets a late night takeover of the channel, starting with 10.30pm's Kylie's Secret Night and a midnight broadcast of concert film Kylie's Golden Tour.
