What channel is the Bills game on? How to watch the Buffalo Bills vs. Cleveland Browns

ORCHARD PARK - One would have to assume that CBS isn’t all that disappointed that the Buffalo Bills home game against the Cleveland Browns was moved to Detroit on Sunday afternoon.

Not only will the CBS crew working the game - specifically the camera operators out in the elements - not have to contend with the miserable weather in Orchard Park, the network’s local TV ratings are likely to get a nice boost.

That’s because 70,000 people won’t he heading to Highmark Stadium and the vast majority of those who aren’t making the trip to Detroit will instead be sitting at home watching the game from the comfort of their homes.

“We’re hoping for this to still be a home field advantage,” general manager Brandon Beane said Thursday night. “Luckily it’s not across the country. We know BillsMafia is all over, and hopefully those that are in the Michigan area will definitely come. And hopefully the ones here that want to get out of the snow will drive over there.”

As to what time the game is played, that might still be up in the air.

With the storm expected to continue ravaging the Buffalo region through at least mid-day Saturday, there is concern about whether the Bills can actually fly to Detroit as they normally would the day before a road game.

The NFL is reportedly considering allowing the Bills to fly Sunday morning if necessary, and if that were to happen, the game would certainly be pushed back to the 4 p.m. window, or perhaps even the prime-time window.
