Chantelle Houghton has said it makes her “blood run cold” when she thinks about the comments sex offender Jimmy Savile made to her on Celebrity Big Brother.

The pair met when Savile went into the reality TV show house as part of a task in 2006, years before his offences came to light.

At the time, the disgraced entertainer was a star and Houghton told The Sun that his arrival created a buzz in the house.

“He obviously knew what he was really saying, when he said, 'I'm always telling the truth, even when I'm lying’,” she went on.
