Charity caught importing record players under guise of aid for Armed Forces of Ukraine, says Bureau of Economic Security
Expensive equipment was imported through the Yahodyn checkpoint. Perpetrators attempted to pass the cargo off as radio parts for a military unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It has been established that the scheme was set up to evade paying the customs tariffs.
It is noted that the warranty letter was signed by a person who has been dismissed from their position and has no relation to the military unit.
Detectives searched the vehicle and seized 50 boxes of audio systems. The value of the cargo is being determined.

The BEB press service did not name the charity but noted it has been operating in Ukraine for nine years.
Earlier, it was reported that BEB confiscated 30 tons of raw materials to produce household chemicals under the trademarks of well-known brands.
