Charlevoix pool hosts annual fundraiser on June 30

CHARLEVOIX — The Charlevoix Area Community Pool will be hosting a fundraiser dinner called “Aqua Magic” from 6-9 p.m. on June 30 at the Charlevoix Yacht Club Event Hall, 220 Ferry Ave. in Charlevoix.

The event will feature a catered dinner, live and silent auctions, dancing to the Foghorn Jazz Band, cash bar, and a roving magician. Tickets are $100 per person or reserve an eight-top table for $800. Auction items from the community include front row seating for Boyne Thunder poker run boat race, a week vacation at a resort, a private weekday cruise, professional family photography sessions, and more.

All proceeds will benefit the Charlevoix Area Community Pool, a nonprofit organization that has been serving the community as a public resource for 25 years.

To register for the Aqua Magic dinner, call the pool with a credit card at (231) 547-0982. Tickets are limited. More information on the event is available at www.charlevoixpool.org. Auction item donations are also welcome.

The Charlevoix Area Community Pool provides programs that meet the changing needs of area children and adults including swim lessons, water safety classes, adult fitness classes, lifeguarding classes, and various swim times for family fun and fitness. It is located at 11905 U.S. 31 North in Charlevoix.
