Charlie Cox is hoping he'll get to play Daredevil again in Marvel movies
Daredevil may have been axed by Netflix, but Charlie Cox would be very interested if the opportunity came to play Matt Murdock on the big screen.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Netflix's Marvel series have always been kept apart – although a superhero crossover with Spider-Man sounds very appealing to Cox.
"I would love to get to continue playing that character," he told The Playlist. "I'd like anything. In the comic books, there are some fantastic Spider-Man/Daredevil storylines.

"The bottom line is, I just absolutely love the show. I love playing the character. It's still a bit weird to me that I'm not playing the character anymore.
"It's kind of impossible for me to really imagine [a Spider-Man/Daredevil team-up] because it's been such a long period of my life."
Cox continued: "It's such a dream job for me. It's been such a wonderful experience that any scenario where I get to continue playing the character, whether it be on a different series or whether it be in the movies, would be fantastic.
"I can only hop. It's almost like I can't think about it because I don't want to get my hopes up."
One possibility for Daredevil is crossing into The Punisher... if it gets a third season, that is.
"Obviously Daredevil and Punisher have a lot of history and story between them in the comic books. So it would be great to dig into some of that," The Punisher's showrunner Steve Lightfoot recently said.
Daredevil seasons 1-3 is available to watch on Netflix.
