Charlotte Tilbury has been a Global Ambassador at Women for Women International since 2016, and this week she has made a major donation to the charity.

£1 million has been pledged straight to the organisation, which works to empower women survivors of war by providing crucial education and training.

Enrolling on the charity's year-long programme gives underprivileged women the skills needed to thrive on their own after leaving the world's most dangerous conflict zones, from money management to health education and community-building social skills.

'Charlotte Tilbury’s support has helped hundreds of women survivors of war graduate from our year-long training programme with the tools and resources to move from crisis and poverty to stability and self-sufficiency', said Brita Fernandez Schmidt, Senior Vice President for Global Partnerships at Women for Women International.

'Our partnership has helped to inspire hope for the future for the women we serve, empowering them to become leaders and role models in their communities.'

It costs just £22 to secure a women a place on the training course, and the charity has helped over 495,000 women survivors of war so far.

As if this news wasn't joy-inducing enough..wait until you here how Ms. Tilbury will be funding this gigantic donation. Yes, Hot Lips 2 is coming, and sooner than you might think.

The second instalment of the brand's insanely popular lipstick line is set to drop online on June 20th, paying homage to 11 new iconic women. We're willing to bet there will be a few killer reds as well as a host of nude shades to suit all skin tones. You can sign up for early access to the collection here.
