Charlotte woman wins $5 million in lottery

A Charlotte woman is a millionaire after a trip to the grocery store.

Faith Granwehr bought a $30 scratch-off ticket at the Harris Teeter on South Boulevard and won the first $5 million prize of the game.

Granwehr chose to take the lump sum of $3 million and, after required state and federal tax withholdings, she took home $2,137,509.
